Onalaska PD Chief Dunaway PCSO Record

This is a request under the Texas Public Information Act, Chapter 552 of the Texas Government Code.

I am requesting access to and copies of all records related to the employment of Byron A. Dunaway during his time with the Polk County Sheriff’s Department. This request covers the entirety of Mr. Dunaway’s employment with the department from 2008 to the date of this request.

Specifically, this request includes:

Applications and hiring documents (TCOLE application, Polk County Sheriff’s Department employment application, resume, references, interview materials, offer letters, background investigations, pre-employment testing, oath of office, and initial appointment records)

Records of complaints, internal affairs investigations, and any disciplinary actions

Records of commendations, awards, or letters of recognition

I am aware that Mr. Dunaway has had a long history of employment with the department dating back to 2008. I understand there may be a significant number of records to review and produce. If additional time beyond the usual response period is needed to locate and compile these records, I am willing to accommodate a reasonable extension to assist in completing this request thoroughly.
